Types of headshots
Every headshot I take is coached the same way. Where the photo will live decides the rest, from how tight I frame it to what you should wear.
For teams, on site
Photographed at your office or another location anywhere in San Diego County, starting January 2027. Priced by head count, so send me your team size for a quote.
Staff headshots
Matching photos of your whole staff for the team page on your website. Everyone gets the same backdrop, lighting and crop, so the page looks like one company.
Employee headshots
For ID badges, Slack and Teams profiles, email signatures and the company directory. Short slots let people step out one at a time while the rest of the department keeps working.
Executive headshots
For leadership pages, press releases and investor decks. Executives usually get a longer slot than the rest of the team, because these photos get reused for years.
Board headshots
Portraits of board members and trustees for nonprofit and company websites and annual reports. Booking them around a board meeting gets most of the members in one visit.
Group headshots
Individual headshots for everyone in a group, such as an association, a sales team or a club, all shot with the same setup so they line up on a page.
Onboarding headshots
Photos for new hires as they join, matched to the rest of your team's headshots so the website stays consistent as the company grows.
For individuals, in the private studio
One person in my private studio in Carlsbad, starting January 2027. $350 for the session, then $150 for each edited image you choose.
LinkedIn headshots
LinkedIn crops your photo to a small circle, so the framing stays tight on your face and the background stays plain enough not to fight your banner.
Business portraits
A little wider than a headshot, showing more of your posture and outfit. Good for website bios and marketing where a tight crop feels too formal.
Executive portraits
Half-length or three-quarter-length portraits, standing or seated, for features, keynote programs and annual reports.
Lawyer headshots
For firm bio pages, Avvo and legal directories. Most attorneys want a polished, conservative look that still feels like someone a client would call.
Real estate headshots
For your Zillow and Realtor.com profiles, business cards, listing flyers and yard signs. The same photo ends up everywhere, from a thumbnail to a sign on a lawn, so it has to hold up at both sizes. Brokerages can also book a team day on site.
Consultant headshots
For proposals, your website and LinkedIn, where a prospective client decides whether to trust you before the first call.
Speaker headshots
For conference programs, event sites and your introduction slide. Organizers often ask for both a horizontal and a vertical version, so it's worth planning for both in one session.
Branding headshots
Photos that fit your brand colors and the way you work, for coaches, small business owners and creatives whose face is part of what they sell.
Actor headshots
Theatrical and commercial looks for casting sites and agents, with several wardrobe changes in one session.
Modeling headshots
Clean, lightly retouched shots that show agencies what you actually look like, with simple clothes and natural makeup.
Dating headshots
Relaxed, natural photos for dating profiles. The same coaching that steadies people for a corporate headshot helps here, so you look at ease in front of the camera.
Not sure which you need? Tell me where the photos will be used and I'll suggest the right session.
